Activity Book, Papercraft

"Within the realm of the television screen lies a world of endless possibilities, where the extraordinary can occur.” In this book, you take on the role of the main character, allowing you to explore these captivating domains by creating your own stories through papercraft construction and play. I developed this activity book and papercraft as part of a Joan Mitchell Foundation program titled “Creating a Living Legacy,” which highlights artwork from art apprentices, art legacy specialists, and C.A.L.L artists involved in the initiative. My design inspiration for this book draws from my toy design practice, fascination with papercraft toys, and my experience in the C.A.L.L program with conceptual artist and television-art pioneer "Jaime Davidovich."

Clicking Mechanism

Each rotation activates a clicking mechanism, enhancing user interaction with precisely calibrated components for smoother disc movement.

TV Man Papercraft

TV Man Papercraft was designed in Adobe Illustrator, taking aesthetic cues from the trend of oversized-headed figurines. This work also reflects my apprenticeship with Jaime Davidovich and my chance to contribute to his projects.
